The workshop will cover a range of essential topics to equip participants with the skills and awareness needed to provide effective legal support for juvenile clients. It will begin by exploring
the definition of a child/juvenile and how to determine who the client is particularlly in international practices. Participants will learn about the initial stages of legal assistance, including how to engage with juvenile clients, explain their legal options, and build trusting relationships.
Providing Legal Support Services for Juvenile Clients Workshop Organized by BABSEACLE, Foreign Trade University, Whie & Case. The workshop will also emphasize ethical duties, such as managing conflicts of interest, adhering to legal ethics, and safeguarding the well-being of juvenile clients. Additionally, sessions will focus on working effectively with family members, third parties, and other professionals involved in a case. A case study will allow participants to apply their knowledge in a practical setting, reinforcing both legal skills and ethical considerations.
