Session Description

The session discusses the importance of legal education in rural areas of Vietnam and the challenges faced in delivering it. It highlights the role of university students in providing legal education in these areas, citing the case study of NEU-CLE’s program at Dinh Hoa High School in Thai Nguyen province. The program, which aimed to promote legal literacy among high school students, was well-received by both the students and the NEU students who led it. The program’s success demonstrates the potential for involving university students in providing legal education in rural communities to increase access to justice and legal literacy.
