Wendy Morrish is the Co-Founder/Director of the not-for-profit organizations BABSEACLE [www.babseacle.org] as well as BABSEACLE Australia and BABSEACLE Foundation (Thailand), where she provides technical and education advisory support for pro bono and justice education programmes throughout the Asia region.
In 2006, after working in the field of business development in the private sector of corporate Australia, where she also worked as an active Justice of the Peace for over 18 years, Ms Morrish focused her energy on the Access to Justice through developing and strengthening CLE programs. Currently, she has overseen, facilitated and co-trained in numerous workshops and trainings throughout Asia, Australia, USA, UK, Europe.
She is also an International Organizing Committee member of the regionally led Asia Pro Bono Conference and Legal Ethics Forum. This initiative has organized and held globally attended pro bono/legal education/legal ethics events in Laos (September, 2012), Vietnam (September, 2013), Singapore (October, 2014), Thailand (April, 2015), Myanmar (September, 2015), Bali, Indonesia (August 2016), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (Sep/Oct 2017) and Hong Kong (Oct 2018).
Wendy currently serves on the Executive Committee of GAJE (Global Alliance for Justice Education).
