Session Description
The session session highlights the pivotal importance of Clinical Legal Education programs in advancing migrant justice by fostering robust and sustainable partnerships within communities. Migrant workers frequently encounter significant obstacles in accessing legal services, such as inadequate documentation, exploitation at work, and restricted access to justice. Collaborative efforts between CLE initiatives, local non-governmental organizations, legal aid clinics, employers, government bodies, and educational institutions can be instrumental in providing legal safeguards and social support to migrant communities. Through engaging discussions, interactive role-playing activities, and expert perspectives, the session will delve into both global and local best practices for establishing effective partnerships in CLE. This will help participants understand how to leverage these partnerships to enhance legal protection and social support for migrant populations.
