The 3rd Asia Clinical Legal Education (CLE) Conference provides a platform to explore the opportunities and challenges of establishing CLE programs. The event will focus on the role of clinical legal education in enhancing legal education quality, promoting access to justice, strengthening the Rule of Law, and cultivating a culture of pro bono services.
Attendees will have the chance to engage in discussions, share experiences, and foster collaborations at national, regional, and international levels, supporting the continued evolution of CLE.

Call for Presentations
Session Presentations
We invite proposals for Session Presentations, where speakers can deliver in-depth discussions on topics related to CLE. These presentations are intended for speakers who wish to present on broader topics, engaging the audience in comprehensive discussions.
Interactive Paper Presentations
We are also accepting proposals for Interactive Paper Presentations. These 30-minute sessions allow individuals to present their academic research or insights in a more focused and interactive format. The interactive nature of these presentations encourages engagement with the audience and promotes deeper discussions.
Note: Please note that paper submissions will not be published or peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be included in a conference compendium available on our website after the event.
Ethical Conduct
The 3rd Asia CLE Conference Organizer takes ethical conduct very seriously, and considers any form of plagiarism unacceptable. Papers that contain redundant publication (reusing one's own writing verbatim or in a substantially similar form) or plagiarism (using another author's writing without attribution) will be rejected without further review, and additional action will be taken as appropriate.
The Use of Generative AI and AI-assisted Technologies
Authors are allowed to use generative AI and AI-assisted technologies in the writing process before submission, but only to improve the language and readability of their paper and with the appropriate disclosure. This does not apply to the use of basic tools for checking grammar, spelling, references etc.
2025 Events and Initiatives
Providing Legal Support Services for Juvenile Clients
Building on the success of the workshop organized in Chiang Mai, Thailand, BABSEACLE, in collaboration with White & Case LLP and the Foreign Trade University (FTU), is pleased to announce that the workshop will be hosted at FTU in Hanoi, Vietnam, on March 1-2, 2025.
This impactful workshop is designed to equip participants with practical skills while emphasizing ethics and professional responsibility. Attendees will explore essential ethical considerations in providing legal support to juvenile clients, ensuring they develop both technical proficiency and a strong sense of ethical obligations as future legal practitioners.

The Asia Clinical Legal Education (CLE) Conference is an engaging event dedicated to enhancing Clinical Legal Education (CLE) programs. 2025 Asia CLE Mock Sentencing Hearing Workshop and Event
As a means to support and strengthen the value of the rule of law, fair trial and access to justice in the region, BABSEACLE, along with many of its justice sector partners, will be organizing the 2025 Asia CLE Mock Sentencing Hearing Workshops and Event. This event legal training will provide a platform for potential legal practitioners from many countries throughout Asia, in order to improve their legal skills, the substantive legal knowledge and strengthen their appreciation of fair trial, access to justice and Rule of Law principle.

13th Asia Pro Bono Conference & Access to Justice Exchange
The conference organized by a network consortium from throughout Asia and globally, is the largest annual gathering of persons supporting and engaged in access to justice, pro bono and public interest law in Asia.
The APBC will be an opportunity to share experiences, advocacies, and ideas not only among Asians but to learn as well from experts, practitioners, and policymakers from other regions of the world.

We are BABSEACLE, a 501-C-3 U.S. not-for-profit, access to justice/legal education organization which collaborates globally in the development of justice education and access to justice initiatives while simultaneously fostering generations of pro bono minded champions.
